Casa Annamaria & Laura

Both Casa Annamaria and Casa Laura feature typical terracotta floors, stucco walls and beamed ceilings. The living areas are furnished with overstuffed sofas and chairs. The bedrooms are spacious and decorated with beautiful Italian linens and down comforters and pillows.

Case Annamaria has 3 bedrooms, 2 with queen beds and 1 with 2 single beds. There is a living room, dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen. The sofa in the livingroom converts to a double bed. A door in the kitchen opens to a terrace and pool beyond. The kitchen has a large open fireplace (for cooking and warmth!) and there is an additional fireplace in one of the second floor bedrooms. The bedrooms overlook the pool and vineyards. Each bedroom has its own bathroom featuring terra cotta floors and tiled walls and showers.

Casa Laura offers a large bedroom with a queen size bed plus a sleep sofa in the living room. The large living, dining and kitchen areas are filled with sunlight. Casa Laura features a wood-burning pizza oven in the kitchen as well as a fireplace in the livingroom.

Both Annamaria and Laura have satellite TV, DVD and CD players, and fully equipped kitchens with toasters, American & Italian coffee makers, dishwashers, washing machines, drying racks and a good selection of pots, pans, dishes, glasses and cookware. An internal door is locked or opened if requested between the 2 sections. Privacy is insured.

Located behind the house is the beautiful 17' X 37' pool which was completed in May 2005. A stone terrace encircles the pool which affords stunning views of the vineyards and dramatic sunsets.

Driving time to Siena is 30 minutes, to Florence 1 hour 15 minutes, to Arezzo 45 minutes, to Rome 3.5 hours. Wine & oil are available for purchase from the neighbors. Small shops, a grocery store and 2 restaurants are located in Lecchi which is 5 minutes away. A greater selection of groceries, restaurants, and shops are located in Radda (10 minutes), Gaiole (15 minutes), and Castellina (20 minutes).
